| Introduction | In November 2020 during the Covid-19 lock down, I was looking for things to do to while I was home. I have an autoimmune disease so going outside was out of the question and most of my consulting work had dried up. I needed something that would endure because it became clear we would be locked down for many, many months. I was tired of cooking the same old thing day in and day out. As a vegan, I was limited in what I could eat and that was exacerbated by not being able to go to a store. I had everything delivered. I started researching online cooking schools. I found an online school that had a full-year course. I got excited about all the things I would learn with all the types of food they taught. It was different countries of food and also raw food, brunch, bread, desserts and chocolates. It was so exciting! Once I cooked the dishes, I wanted to show them off because they looked so professional. I began taking photographs of the food. I always loved taking photos and this has given me an outlet. I started to post them on Instagram @veganadventurefoodie. I am excited with this new adventure and the prospect of sharing my photography and cooking with all of you. |
