| Introduction | I was the captain of the St. Mary's College Cricket Team. As a member of the Saint Lucia under-19 cricket team of 1978 I participated in the Windward Islands Under-19 Cricket Tournament held in Grenada. I played against Winston Davis, who later went on to represent the West Indies Cricket Team. At University I represented both the St. Augustine Campus and the Cave Hill Campus in the University of the West Indies' Inter-Campus Games. At University I played with Carlisle Best, who later represented Barbados and the West Indies and Orin Gordon, a Guyanese under-19 fast bowler, who is now a well-known journalist. Upon my return home I joined the Lancers Cricket Club and I was also picked to represent the Central Castries Team. After I retired from "hardball" cricket I was selected to represent Saint Lucia in a friendly softball cricket match against Antigua and Barbuda. I am also an avid table tennis player. I represented the Cave Hill Campus of the University of the West Indies in table tennis at the Inter Campus Games in 1982. I have recently come out of retirement and am presently the Division 2 Champion and also the Over 40s Men Champion in Saint Lucia. |
