| Introduction | My Father was one of the founding members of the People's United Party on September 29,1950. He was a trade union leader in Belize and the Carribbean. He was also involved in Politics and a lecturer of History, English and Spanish. He was also a great Orator. I wish to tell his history; I have plans to retire and become an Author. If all goes according to plan, I will produce my first book in 2007. The name is " A Biography of Nicholas Anthony Pollard, Sr., the tradeunionist...who fought for country,labour and justice. I was recently inspired by the movie, "Last Samurai", when the emperor said, "tell me how he died;" and Tom Cruise said, "I will tell you how he lived." |
