| Introduction | The first point I need to make, I am not a writer. I am a good listener and I was just enthralled with the stories and adventures Miss Katherine had to tell. I could probably say that I am a published writer. Yes, that sounds better. My works were first published in or around 1961-1963. Almost every week, I would write an article for our local newspaper, The Baker County Press. It was mostly news about the Baker County High School Band. When the news was ho-hum, I would interview band members and put their school picture and a biographical sketch of their life in the paper. Most of the time, Mr. Tate Powell, the editor of the newspaper, saw what great writing talent I had and he would put my articles on the front page with my by-line in bold print. Front page news, now this tells you how much was going on in Macclenny at that time. So, technically, I could change the beginning sentence and start with, I am a published writer with loads of experience. Now, that sounds better. Wow, I am starting to get impressed with myself. |

| Favorite movies | I don't think I have a favorite movie. There are certain things I do not like to see in movies. I do not like to see a lot of killing, violence, drugs, sex, immorality. When the movie produers use these things to promote movies, I think it is sending the wrong message to our young people. This type of behavior should not become their role model. |

You've been invited to a fancy ball but the only thing you have to wear is an orange wooly jumper. What shoes do you wear?
If I was invited to a fancy ball and all I had to wear was an orange wooly jumper, I would probably find a pair of Gator Blue shoes to wear. If I could not find the Gator Blue shoes, then I would probably spray paint an old pair of shoes that I had, Gator Blue.
