If mud is dirt plus water, what is clay?
Clay is made of very fine particles of solid matter. I think from river silt. There is much I do not know about clay and its chemical and physical properties. It behaves differently when it is wet and when it is dry. So far this is a dry discussion. Wetness is a more fertile topic
