| Introduction | In 2010, like so many others, I found myself unemployed. The company I had worked for implemented a reduction in force, and everyone with my job title in the district was ether offered the choice of a new position or a separation package. After being offered a new position, that I knew I would hate, I elected to take the package and leave the company where I had worked for the past twenty years. I know found myself looking for a new career. I looked to my college background and training to help me in choosing my new career path. My first love has always been filmmaking, in which I hold a BA, So I took what I loved most about filmmaking, my experience in theater, and my passion for story telling to create new and exciting children's picture books. THE DEEP BLACK POND and THE GRAY GARDEN; AUNT NANCY'S GARDEN are my first two offerings. I am thrilled to be doing something that I love, as well as bringing joy and inspiring the imaginations of a future generation. |
