| Introduction | Taylor was elected Leader of the Alberta Party on May 28th 2011. First elected to Hinton Town Council in 2001 he was elected as Mayor in 2004, then re-elected in 2007 and 2010. During his first term on council, he completed a certificate program on Local Government and Leadership in the 21st Century offered by the University of Alberta Faculty of Extension and School of Business. Glenn has served as the Vice-President for Towns on the Alberta Urban Municipalities Association, the Chairman of Alberta's Rural Development Fund and on Alberta's Utilities Consumer Advocate Advisory Board as well as on the Executive of the Board of Directors for the Foothills Research Institute. |
