| Introduction | Hi there, Not yet retired. I am a sixty something grandmother and I am so fortunate as I have a wonderful husband, 3 amazing sons, who each have a beautiful wife or partner and 7 gorgeous grandchildren. I currently work as a High School Canteen Convenor, which, as you can imagine is busy beyond belief. Everything is prepared or cooked from scratch on the premises and having to prepare enough healthy food to satisfy hundreds of hungry teenagers can be quite challenging.. My husband and I also enjoy Rock & Roll and Swing Jive Dancing and have been dancing regularly (at least twice a week) for the past 15 years. This has given us an amazing social life. We have met loads of lovely people and have a wonderful circle of friends. I also practice yoga regularly and enjoy studying the spiritual side of it as well. I love going for long walks and exercising with weights and I also enjoy studying Italian, casually too. So as you can see, I am kept quite busy. So I will use this blog to talk about different day to day things that pop up as well as my social activities. Ciao, Donna |
