Interests Very odd dining utensils, old and new. The more unique, the better. Also, old etiquette books, old history books, old psychology books and old sociology books.
Favorite Movies I love well made period films and cultural studies. Some of my favorites are; Jean de Florette, Manon of the spring, Restoration, Vatel, An Education, Gosford Park, Mansfield Park, Howard's End, Remains of the Day, The Good Earth, Dogville, Pride and Prejudice (2005), Shogun (Miniseries), De Tweeling, Secrets and Lies, Circle of Friends, Tortilla Soup, The Joy Luck Club, Dangerous Beauty, Eve's Bayou, Babette's Feast, In America, Alice Adams, Sense and Sensibility, Goodbye, Lenin! and about 50 others.
Favorite Music Depends on my mood... Right now I am listening to John Newman. I have a truly eclectic soundtrack for my life and if I don't have a CD on in my car, I have KROQ or 100.3 The Sound on the radio.

Dear Aunt Doris, Thank you for remembering my birthday! The dispenser, shaped like a rooster, brings back such fond memories of Grandma's breakfast nook.
