| Introduction | I reached an age that precludes my sharing in depth because it would take too much time to read. Suffice it to say I am almost grown up. Politically I am a conservative and do not support our current electorate. Approach me on this topic, and you will learn I have very strong opinions best left to personal conversations exchanged over strong drink, where we can leave and remain friends. A handful of books on motivation and leadership dot my shelves, along with used college texts on political science, math, astronomy, and business. I own an aging bible with a number of colorfully highlighted passages and a few protruding post-it notes. My future is uncertain, but that’s okay. I’ve left what remains of it up to the Lord. I’m tired of trying to manage it. Had I relied on Him more often, my memior might have told an entirely different story. I'm sure the Lord will evaluate my life, in detail, at the appropriate time. My hope is that there will be many more chapters to write before that final evaluation. |
