Say No To The SAR

| Introduction | We are opposing the recommendations of the Secondary Admissions Review and campaigning for a fairer way of allocating places to pupils, particularly those from the proposed Falmer catchment. We want a proper choice for our children; we want a rethink on the SAR; and we want to be properly represented in the decision-making process. If the SAR can arrive at a solution which is fair to the whole city, including residents in Coombe Road, Moulsecoomb, Bevendean, Coldean, Hollingbury and Stanmer, if the proposals promise to provide our children with a good comprehensive education, then we may be able to say, "Yes" to the SAR. However, the current proposals are absolutely unacceptable. We also welcome comments on the articles. This is a place for you to get your opinions heard, and for discussion of the issues that affect us. However, any comments that contain swearing or involve personal attacks on anyone posting or commenting on the site will be removed - some of those commenting may disagree and debate on the blog would be valuable. |
