Introduction	When my husband & I bought our 80+ year old house we had no idea what we were doing. And we still don't. For every project we dream of starting there are at least 3 other projects and a string of life events that require our immediate attention. Do our hardwood floors give us splinters? YES! Do we dream of having a dishwasher? ALWAYS! Do we put saran wrap on the windows in the winter? YOU BETCHA! Sometimes you just gotta do what's necessary and other times learn to just make the most out of things that may have fallen off the back of a pick-up truck.
