Introduction	Contained within are the musings of a godless heathen, libertarian, tree-hugging, MMO gaming, personally conservative (for the most part, anyway) military spouse and homeschooling mom of two fabulotasic sons. People like when things fit in neat, tidy boxes. Sucks for them!
Favorite movies	Star Wars, Star Trek, Harry Potter, Billy Elliot, Lord of the Rings, various classics like, Pride and Prejudice, (not the most recent one, thanks!). While not a movie, Avatar the Last Airbender, kicks serious buttocks! I am also a fan of some Brit comedy series like, Coupling, Faulty Towers, Keeping up Appearances. While we're on the subject of tv shows, Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman, does not get enough recognition.
Favorite music	Disturbed, System of a Down, Tori Amos, Finger Eleven, Shinedown, and others. New Age instrumental, Classical, experimental.
Favorite books	Lord of the Rings, the occasional trashy romance (what housewife worth her salt doesn't read those?), Harry Potter, political books, Michael Pollan, (if you have not had the pleasure of his books, fix that fast!), Michael Moore, Bill Bryson, (A Walk in the Woods and A Short History of Nearly Everything are staples in my library).

How do you pronounce the 'g' in bologna?

It's silent. "Buh-loh-nyah". A better question is, "What's IN bologna?"
