| Introduction | In the past, as I sat on the NYC subway, I'd make drawings on the edges of newspapers, sometimes over the words. And then the iPhone was invented, and after seeing what some friends created, I realized it was something I had to have, too. Thankfully, my father upgraded is iPhone and I inherited his old one, discovered the zen brush app, and began enjoying my Q train commutes a little more. I'd stand or sit there, phone in hand, and with my thumb on the screen and my eye scanning the car, creating portraits. And now that I live in Switzerland and don't commute by mass transit as much as I did in NYC, I have expanded this blog to encompass all aspects of my art. But I keep returning to that iPhone. It's a great little tool for drawing. And occasionally making phone calls. |
