Introduction	is an official outreach effort of the SGS/NYSCAS Department of Speech and Communication of Touro College, New York City, to find people worldwide who are interested in learning and sharing facts, opinions about the many, many aspects of Communication. Anyone - Touro students and alumni, Touro faculty and others interested in Communication - may sign-on as a member. Comments and contributions are limited to those who are registered members. The blog is monitored by the SGS/NYSCAS Department of Speech and Communication, which reserves the right to remove and/or edit any statements that are deemed not consistent with the mission and goals of the department and Touro College. We meet periodically and usually have a theme for each meeting. Communication happens all the time - in personal, interpersonal and public situations. Communication, covers: • how we talk to ourselves inside our heads, • how we talk to each other, • how we talk to our co-workers, • how we understand and defend our points of view ethically, • how culture impacts our interaction,• and much more. There are no dues. The only requirement is that you are willing to listen and participate in our dialogue occasionally.
