| Introduction | Hi. Where do I start? My name is Ana, I am from Costa Rica but have been living in Scotland for over 15 years. I am married with 2 children, the youngest being almost 13. I work as a database administrator (don’t laugh!) but my real passion is to craft, I have turned my attentions to many activities: jewellery making, pottery, paper crafts but the craft I have found most valuable to know is sewing. Why I craft? …. It’s a very hard question to answer, when you consider the world is full of shops with plenty of lovely goodies that can be purchased. Shopping items require far less effort than making it yourself but I still insist in making my own. To me sewing has been a selfish activity, I mostly have clothes for myself, however I’d like to start experimenting with making stuff for selling everybody’s dream of turning your hobby into income and I want a slice of it! I know there are many like-minded people who will like to share the dream so lets get started! |
