| Introduction | Married to Carol 25 yrs 2nd time round. Sailing: Member Double Bay VJ club, NSW,& Australian Champion. Sailed 12's, 16's, and was a crew member 2nd trapeze of 18ft skiff. Sailed many offshore races including Sydney Hobart 1977-78. Finally had to stop competitive sailing owing to spinal problems making my stability on board a liability to other crew members. Joined Australian Volunteer Coastguard, to give back some of the good times I had on the ocean,and help others in difficulty until 1998. Retired from the work force in 1993 aged 50yrs and enjoy a nice life in Hervey Bay Queensland Australia. Photography is now my main enjoyment meeting and making friends. |
