Introduction | Start with the beginning: http://tennesseetaylorfor6th.blogspot.com/2008/11/i-volunteer-sir.html to understand what drove me to consider this. With the Cold War in full swing, I signed up for the US Army my senior year of High School. The enemy we fought were the invaders and pilferers of our ally Kuwait, rather than the enemy defeated by the words of Reagan. My Military Career took me to the Middle East, Latin America, Europe, and Asia. My experience took me to Africa as well. I've learned more by self-study and experience than in the Halls of Higher Education. I've learned more from the "common man" than any professor could teach. Every person we meet has something they can teach us, if only we're willing to learn. I have a sworn oath, that does not expire, to protect the Constitution. |
