| Introduction | How to state something about me that doesn't sound boastful or self-deprecating. My name is Stephen M. Oakes and I have a beautiful daughter named Maisey Adia Elizabeth who is 11 going on 30. I also have a Stafford Terrier named SGT. Pepper, and she is a beautiful brindle. On January 12th, 2009 I was struck by the mirror of a Truck at or about 50 mph's. By God's grace I servived with no major brain damage. I did however suffer a type of nerve damage that has now left most of my body in 24/7 pain. Although brutal, I strive to at least live as normal as possible. Things have changed for now (until I truly learn to control my mind) being that I am unable to do many if any of the constant physical activities I once participated in daily. I have always been a physical person, but luckily I have also been a very cerebral person as well. So I have decided to embark in an adventure of trying to grasp the true nature of myself and spiritual being. Sounds arrogant, but not at all trying to. This is for me, with a little hope that once in awhile somebody might stumble upon me and correspond. So as I learn more of how to use this and figure out my voice, I hope to accomplish my goals. |

| Favorite books | Bilbe, Universe in a Nutshell, Deception Point, and pretty much anything I can get my hands on. My favorite place is the bookstore. |
