Introduction I studied Artificial Intelligence at the RuG in Groningen and did my M.Sc. project on human reasoning in theory and practice in the repeated prisoners dilemma. Currently I am a PhD student within the Choice project(Charting the infOrmation landscape employIng ContExt information). The CHOICE Project is one of the ten NWO CATCH research projects. Research within CATCH is aimed at creating Continuous Access To Cultural Heritage. CHOICE studies the application of techniques like natural language processing, semantic web techniques and data mining techniques to context documents associated with an audio visual document in order to support cataloguers in the indexing and retrieval of this audiovisual document. Choice's research takes place within Sound and Vision, the Dutch public broadcasters archive. Participants in the Choice project are Luit Gazendam and Mettina Veenstra from the Telematics Institute, Veronique Malaise and Guus Schreiber from the The Free university, Hennie Brugman from the Max planck Institute and Annemieke de Jong and Johan Oomen of Sound and Vision.
