| Introduction | 2016-2017 marks my 20th year of teaching middle school science. I have taught in Kuwait, Arizona, Wisconsin and this is my 10th year of teaching at TAISM. My family and I love to camp all over Oman both at the beach and in the mountains. We feel very lucky to have landed in this special location that offers such a rich natural environment. I strive to make science class fun and interesting while still learning the necessary knowledge and skills to advance students' thinking as young scientists and engineers.
