| Introduction | i was diagnosed in mid'89 also with primary progressive ms. worked another 8.5 years then went on long term disability. i also participated in the proMiSe trial, for copaxone, and injected myself daily for 3.5 yrs, 'till they said they weren't getting the results they were hoping for. although it was in my system, i guess, i cannot say that there were any signs or indications of any problems/weaknesses that i took note of prior to the arm and leg spasms showing up in '89. the 'legs' going on me, trying to round the bases at the yearly family picnics were attributed to getting older! i've graduated to a cane for walking and balance, am pain free and always maintain a positive outlook. that's the only way to go otherwise you're looking at deep depression... i hope you'll pardon my limited pick&find typing skills, as i've never utilised the free typing programs i always have saved on my computer.
