| Introduction | I run a marine life and bio.-supply company on the coast of Maine called Gulf of Maine, Inc. - www.gulfofme.com. We help teachers bring marine science ALIVE in their classrooms! I spent a large part of each day on the beaches, in the mud, hanging off floats, and peering into pools and caves to find and learn more about the sea life that lives on the coast of Maine. I have spent the past 42 years of my life having fun making money and exploring the US and Europe. I have a wife and 4 great little kids and a big saltwater farm on Cobscook Bay - a sidearm of the Bay of Fundy. I came to the area as a biology teacher and taught for 7 years at a local high school. This led to my pursuing of a Master Maine Guides license and USCG captains license and the evolution in the outfitting and eco-tour company we ran called Tidal Trails. This proved to be great fun - but not enough of a business to support a family year-round. Gulf of Maine was born in the year 2000 as I began commercially collecting and selling marine life to labs, schools, and supply houses. |
