| Introduction | In the Old Testament, Job suffers extreme trials--eventually losing his family, friends, and possessions. In an eloquent display of faith, Job responds to these hardships by proclaiming, "Though [the Lord] slay me, yet will I trust in him" (Job 13:15). Inspired by the faith of Job, I seek to walk the uphill path toward salvation and, like Job, should the Lord slay me, yet will I forever put my trust in him. |
