| Introduction | Welcome, stranger, to the Lonely Dog Community...! I created this site with a simple goal: to find the prophetic in the mundane and the mundane in the prophetic. You could say I have a mission of sorts. Here, I have provided a medium to dump your thoughts. Not just any thoughts, but the ones which matter by seeming not to matter. It's easy to become blinded to them when you when you’re focused on running your life. Putting food in your mouth and clothes on your back is important, for sure. So is acknowledging the little signs. They’re shouting some good stuff and we should be trying to listen. This place is your journal. Preserve the ideas which would otherwise be lost at the end of the day. Save what matters inside you. Ground rules: This is a place to contribute and share. Be courteous if you're going to explore. You don't have to kiss ass but don't be one either. Second, if you think you're about to use my sight to spout racist or prejudiced rhetoric, you can get the hell out now. Your kind ain’t welcome. Lastly, I’ve no way of protecting your stuff, no matter how righteous it is. Protect your artwork, poetry, stories, etc. and NO BITING! Be cool and play nice, guys. |

| Favorite Movies | Pan's Labyrinth, Author, Grave of the Fireflies, Let the Right Ones In, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Amelie, The Princess Bride, Edward Scissorhands, Jurassic Park, Black Dynamite, Evangelion Death and Rebirth, and Princess Mononoke (love anime titles). When it comes to movies, I enjoy being made to laugh, wonder, think, writhe with curiosity and jump with excitement. I never cry though. |
| Favorite Music | Some of my favorite American artists include My Chemical Romance, Blink 182, Skindred, No Doubt, Link Park, Korn, Beastie Boys, Gorillaz, Evanescence, and Alkaline Trio, just to name a few. I also branch out to Japanese pop and rock music so artists like Ayumi Hamasaki, Younha, Flow, Asian Kung Fu Generation, Flow, UVERworld, and L'Arc en Ciel also have a place in my heart... Basically, I love all sorts of music that is quality material and original (although I seem to favor punk rock). |
| Favorite Books | My mind was kidnapped by movies and television for a couple of years so my book reading isn't quiet as remarkable as it should be. The last books I remember enjoying were The Catcher in the Rye, The Jungle, Ten Stories and Goats. I spend more time with Japanese manga series like Naruto, Bleach, Rurouni Kenshin, Fairy Tail, Vagabond, etc. My tastes run the gamut from action adventure tales to historical dramas and romance pieces. I also spend a lot of time reading online articles from different publications, although Cracked.co m gets a lot of my attention. |
