| Introduction | I am a Portland-based art therapist who just returned from completing graduate school in Vancouver BC for art therapy. I am also an educator, artist, avid world traveler, advocate for children and families and general mover and shaker! One of my biggest passions in life is travel, connecting/working with other cultures and children especially. My dream job is to share art therapy and the healing nature of artistic expression on an international scale. This is why I am leaving for a 6-month art therapy internship in Cape Town, South Africa this fall, working/interning at the Community Arts Therapy Programme which is a non-profit that works with children in the Cape Town Red Cross Burn Unit, with women who are HIV+ and with children from nearby townships.
