Introduction	I am mad about fiber arts and gardening in equal measure. October-April you will find me indoors spinning, knitting, and creating needle-felt artwork. By the 1st of May, I put the wool away and, until the end of September, you'll find me out in the garden or in the greenhouse with dirty hands and knees. I am an explorer in both pursuits - eager to learn and to try something new. Join me and please comment as I recount my successes, failures, and "meh" moments along the way. Backstory: I live in a small town, on a small island, in N.W. Washington State. I've been married at least 150 years to a great guy named Bob, am the proud mom of 2 grown sons, and the doting Nana to 5 exceptional grandchildren. When I'm not blogging about all things wild and woolly or green and growing, I enjoy reading, RV travel and DIY home improvement.
Favorite movies	Auntie Mame, Yellowbeard, After the Fox, Gran Torino, Green Mile.
Favorite music	Blues - The "old schoolers" like BB King, Muddy Waters, etc. but can't beat Eric Clapton for solid blues, either.
Favorite books	Atlas Shrugged, Arguing with Idiots, Reagan Diaries, and every word ever written by Robert B. Parker (RIP). Just for fun, I turn to authors like Clive Cussler, Lawrence Sanders, M.C. Beaton, Sue Grafton and Janet Evanovich.
