| Introduction | I will never forget my first Conversation... The night of December 18, 1999 found me sitting in my living room; my heart in turmoil over the pain and hurt I had brought to those I loved. Oh how I wanted to go back and undo it all. But try as I might, there was no erase button for the damage I had done. My heart let out a silent cry, “Who would want me now?” It was there in the stillness surrounded by the soft glow of Christmas tree lights that His voice poured through my soul like water on dry ground, “I want you, Diana. It’s not too late. Reach out your hand.” My heart leaned in to listen and as Jesus and I sat down on the steps outside my heart’s door I gave Him my heart; my life; my all. I fell in love with God and His Word and what He was teaching me flowed out of my heart onto paper, and Conversations at the Well was born. My friend, I pray that as you read these words they will bring encouragement and hope to your heart but above all I pray they will lead you to the feet of Jesus and inspire you to read His Word and have conversations of your own. Come. Come to the well. |
