| Introduction | I am a wife, mother to 4 wonderful kids and their 4 wonderful spouses. Right now I have 9 of the most perfect, smartest, cutest grandkids on the face of the earth. I love to travel. The greatest trip I have ever been on was to Maui with Dave and our brother and sister in-law Craig and Susan. My moto is: "If I can't be with the Grandkids, I'd rather be in Maui!!! In August 2008, I decided it was time to take control of my life. I was diagnosed with Sarcoidosis two years ago and suffered from diminished lung capacity. I wasn't able to exercise or even get down on the floor to play with the grandkids. I had put on a lot of weight from the steroids that were supposed to make me get better. I went to see a doctor about weight loss surgery and found out I was a good canidate. I had surgery on November 10th and have not had a single regret. To date, I have lost over 50 pounds and feel fantastic. I hope to have some new pictures of myself and my new body soon. |
