| Introduction | My name is Kimberly Cammer and this is my eighth year teaching kindergarten in a small K-12 school in upstate New York. I grew up in in a rural area similar to where I teach. After graduating high school I attended college in western New York for my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education. A few years later I completed my Master's Degree in Literacy from Walden University. According to my mom I used to teach my stuffed animals so it was apparent at a young age that I wanted to be a teacher. |
| Interests | When I'm not preparing lesson plans I love to read mysteries, scrapbook, and travel. Last year I took my first trip to New Zealand and my second trip to Australia. This past summer I spent time in Massachusetts, Washington D.C., and Vermont. |
| Favorite music | I love all kinds of music especially hip hop and country. However I often find myself singing many of the songs we learn in my classroom. Sometimes they are a little to catchy! |
| Favorite books | Far too many to choose from. I love mysteries, thrillers, and adventure stories. |
