| Introduction | Originally from central Maine (in the woods that lie north of Skowhegan), I have lived as a bicycle commuter in San Francisco, New Zealand, and Portland, Oregon. I have been a bike commuter in the city of Portland, Maine since May of 2005. I am currently on the board of directors for the Bicycle Coalition of Maine. This trip is a benefit to raise money for safe and accessible multi-modal transportation in the state of Maine. |
