Introduction	I started life in India and I've washed up in Santa Barbara, having stopped along the way in Lousiana, London, and Leeds. I've also had a muddle of jobs, starting as a medical receptionist (for about five minutes) in Teddington, and ending up as a librarian in Montecito, with time at the BBC, the Farmville Herald and the University of Leeds in the middle. I do actually know a bit about nutrition, so I will sometimes write about that, but mainly I just like to tell stories.
Favorite Movies	Princess Bride, Spinal Tap, Rear Window, Singin' in the Rain, Tremors, Plan 9 from Outer Space, My Cousin Vinny, Shawshank, The Fellowship of the Ring, Amelie, Terminator 2, Up, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, My neighbor Totoro, Crash, Dial M for Murder, All About Eve.
Favorite Music	John Hiatt, David Bowie, Joni Mitchell, Kate Bush, Johnny Cash, oh this is too hard I really hate having to limit myself, plus I can't remember enough specific names. Someone just start playing something and I'll tell you if I like it.
Favorite Books	There are a million bajillion. Maybe when I have a second I'll make this list.
