| Introduction | I live in Northern California with my husband and two boys (ages 11 and 8). During a parent-teacher conference a couple of years ago, my son's 3rd grade teacher asked me what we do to raise such great students. She scoffed at the first couple of things out of my mouth - finding books that interest them, the younger one trying to catch up with the older... She said lots of kids get that, but ours are different, and it has to be in part because of what we do. She suggested I write about it to share with other parents. |
