| Introduction | I have usually been known as the one with the latest tech gadget. I had a computer business in the mid-1990’s and have been tinkering with them ever since. I am an Engineering by profession now, but have had my "roots" in mobile devices since the early Casio 105 PDA series and have had uncountable PDA upgrades before the smartphone put an end to these devices. Loving the UMPC concept, I have picked up just about every mini-laptop (before netbooks were even a concept) from the picturebook, jvc mini notes, Sony series U101, U750, U50, UX-series, Fujitus Lifebooks P2010, P5010, P1510, U820, Aigo slider, Sharp Wilcom D4, Vaio P-Series 1st Gen, OQO1 and OQO2, umid m-book, Viliv S5 and N5. I have alos played in the tablet market with an Asus transformer tablet, Ipad, Ipod touch, Maylong M150, Archos 70, Nook Color, apads, and several I just don't recall anymore. If there was a way to customize it, take it apart, add a touch screen, upgrade components, I tried it. I usually go through about 8-10 devices a year, to ease my addiction and love to share my learning’s with others. |
