| Introduction | I have been competing and coaching in the sport since 1993. In 2005, I moved out of my basement gym in rainy Seattle to open a powerlifting-only facility in sunny Tampa, FL. Tampa Barbell. It had been my dream to open a real strength-training facility complete with all of the best equipment and good lifters. The easy part was the equipment. The part that was earned over time was all of the lifters the gym now has dedicated to the sport of powerlifting. |
