| Introduction | My name is Leslie Smetak. I am running for governor of Wi. as a write in candidate as an Independant. I was born and educated in Phillips, Wi. I am married (39 years) have 2 sons, both married and 3 grandchildren. I presently reside in Mosinee, Wi. I attended N.C.T.C. (2 years). I served as trustee on the Marathon City village board for several terms. I have held a variety of jobs from skinning mink to factory work to small business owner. I may be the most unlikely candidate ever. I will not accept campaign donations. I will not enter into mudslinging (the other candidates can do that well enough). I promise to run for governor on nothing: no campaign donation: not one dollar. Pay for me with your vote as a write in candidate. Don't donate to professional politicians. Donate your hard earned dollars to charitable organizations, community service, or your neighbor who is in need. Les for governor for less government.
