| Introduction | A queer Misfit addicted to words, I've been writing since I was in kindergarten: poetry, songs, stories and fiction that's true and truth that is fiction. I was a founding member and performer in the Dyke Writing Collective, Dirty Ink- one of the best experineces in my life where I came to understand just how much I love to read my work on stage. I'm now an AWA certified writing facilitator, sharing my daily writing practise and prompts and offering writing services to further your own work. I'm writing a novel, working on several other projects and working hard to get my website up and running. Stay tuned for more services, including on-line workshops designed to support your writing, and break through anything that might be standing in your way of your own good work. I'm also a certified sex educator who volunteers at the San Francisco Sex Information Switchboard and an active supporter of Writing Ourselves Whole. I've been published under the pen names, Candace Gideon and Fire or Firecatcher as well as my own name. |
