| Introduction | I’m Brian Weidner, a seasoned cybersecurity executive with more than two decades of experience building and leading information security programs that align risk management with business strategy. Throughout my career I’ve held leadership roles in global information security—most recently as Global Chief Information Security Officer, where I’ve led security strategy, risk governance, incident response, and cross-functional collaboration at scale. My journey in cybersecurity began with a foundation in technology and evolved through operational, engineering, and executive leadership roles across multiple industries. I’ve helped organizations mature security programs, design risk-based frameworks, and communicate effectively with boards and executive teams to drive strategic decision-making. I started InfoSec Made Easy to make complex security topics approachable for security leaders and aspiring CISOs.
