| Introduction | The Spanish word for a retired woman is "jubilada." That's me, jubilant to be living in La Paz. In my working life I was a reporter for CBC and The Vancouver Sun. I also taught journalism at Langara College. For a few years I split my time between La Paz and Vancouver. I started this page on Blogspot for fun -- to learn more about La Paz, to practise my Spanish and to scratch an old news reporter's itch. Now I've developed a new, improved website.
