Introduction	I'm a graphic designer & photographer. My creative pursuits have been influenced by the rugged western coast of Cape Breton – dramatic sunsets, the pounding ocean surf, untouched forests, narrow dirt roads winding past century-old farmhouses, spending summers at the beach with family and friends. Those youthful experiences have shaped who I am as an adult and as an artist. I self-published my first book, twentythree in February 2011. twentythree is a whimsical book which was partially inspired by my time teaching ESL in South Korea and combines my love of photography, typography and meeting people from all walks of life. My next project 12 \| 28 was a photography day in the life on the 28th of every month. I wondered what things I would see or what could happen on the 28th for one year – October 2011 to September 2012 – Halloween, birthdays, a wedding, kids, the city... My current project is the "I Love Cape Breton" collection. My products are for anyone who has ever fallen in love with Cape Breton. http://missbrenna.bigcartel.com/ I live in Halifax with my husband and toddler.
