| Introduction | I love to cook and I love good food. I consider my culinary skill level to be intermediate because I've never had any formal lessons. But like most folks passionate about cooking, I read cookbooks and cooking magazines for pleasure and have learned a lot over the years by reading and doing. For thirty years I worked a demanding, full time job as a software engineer in the semi-conductor engineering field but I always made it a priority to put a home cooked meal on the table nightly. I wasn't masochist, I just didn't care for the flavor of fast foods, takeout and frozen foods. I learned how to put a fairly good meal on the table in thirty minutes or less. It also served as a creative outlet. Now that I have more time, I want to share with family and friends, news, recipes and insights from my kitchen. |
