About me

Industry Arts
Occupation Imperfectionist
Location The Woodlands, Texas, United States
Introduction I'm very curious and I have lots of artistic interests and so I have learned a lot of processes from oil painting to glass bead making (where I get to melt glass with a torch and sculpt it into beads). I have a BFA in Art. I've always drawn and painted and made things. I've lived on the Navajo Reservation in Arizona. I've lived in Turkey, and Nigeria, Oklahoma, Colorado and Texas. I had an art gallery in Louisiana. I think this has given me a wide range of interests and subject matter to paint. I have a dog named Aspen[Aspen died on her birthday (March 28) 2012] that keeps me company in my studio. For 12 years I taught Drawing on the Right side of the Brain classes at Lone Star College in the Woodlands, as well as glass bead making and "watercolor in spite of yourself" (a name I created but had to relinquish to the Loan Star collage system because I was teaching there when I used that name for my beginning watercolor class, if only I had known better!) which was a beginning watercolor class.
