| Introduction | Michelle and Jacquelyne are long time friends who like to create together and enhance each other's lives. Michelle has made the difficult decision to have bariatric surgery done after the New Years. Until then she will be taking her extensive knowledge as an RN and with the help of her dear friend Jacquelyne will be trying to find ways to make lunches that will be appealing and appropriate in this new phase of her life. Through their love of foreign cuisine and cooking, they will attempt to provide recipes that can be broken down after cooking into small portions. Saving portions for later in the freezer or on the shelf. By mixing and matching these small portions of a variety of healthy and tasty foods, they hope to create an attitude about their eating habits that allow for richness and diversity as the physical limitations of the body will demand small portions and radical vitamin replacement. The Japanes have long used bento as a style of eating that can control portions, control calories, and creat a visually satisfying eating experience. |
