| Interests | I am an aspiring sailor and recently bought a 1985 Starwind 223 sailboat for $500 which included a TEE NEE trailer. She is 22.3 feet long and needs to be fully restored. I bought this as a project but even though I have the knowledge of basic marine electronics, woodworking, sewing, and repairing small outboard motors I soon realized that it will cost me more than I anticipated, especially to outfit her for ocean voyages. It has always been a dream of mine to restore a sailboat, learn how to sail her on a local lake, then sail from Florida to the Bahamas, then perhaps the world. I hope that there are sailors and even land lovers who wish to contribute to help me achieve my dream. |
