| Introduction | Just a typical father of a teenage girl (based in Silicon Valley, California) who wondered if the cell phone was permanently attached to his daughter’s ear. Whilst pondering this biological evolution the father also wondered if today’s social interaction (texting, email, cell phone and face book etc.) would bring about the levels of articulate communication that he had witnessed from his wife and mother during his years in their enjoyable company (having given up on trying to find the mute button!!!). So the quest started, to plan and host a suitable party event for my kids that embodied the social interaction of the past (whilst still providing all the fun) without the electronic devices of today.
