| Introduction | Hello, my name is Katherine Spicer. I am a mother of two and an Interior Designer from Fort Smith, Arkansas. It has been a long way for me before I could call myself an Interior Designer. I was born and raised in Russia. After graduating from the University with a Bachelor's Degree in Teaching, I worked as a teacher and interpreter/translator. Moving to the United States in 1998 brought me to a new start, including a husband and children. It was very rewarding to be a stay-at-home mom for many years, but with kids growing and becoming more independent, it was time for a change. I wanted a fresh beginning. My love of interior design and a major remodel of my own home made me look for the opportunities to use my creativity. That is why I became a student at the Sheffield School of Interior Design in New York. After graduating in 2012, I opened my own design studio. |
