| Introduction | Shirley Garcia, MA, holds a Masters in Psychology from the State University of New York at New Paltz. She is currently pursuing a Masters in School Counseling from Long Island University. Ms. Garcia has also studied Transpersonal Psychology at the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology, Palo Alto, CA. She has been a yoga practitioner/eastern studies student since her early teens. Currently, Ms. Garcia practices several styles, including Kundalini, Ashtanga, Iyengar and gentle/restorative asana and pranayama. Additionally, she enjoys bellydancing and Earth-based Goddess centered spirituality studies. |
