| Introduction | Started working at the Ministry of Defence (MOD)(1971). As Selangor Scholar got my B Soc Sc(Hons) at USM, Penang in 1976. Attended a Bank Negara Malaysia Intensive Banking Programme. I joined Bank Bumiputra Malaysia Berhad(BBMB) in November 1976. With the Bank for 11 years in various Divisions. Did my MBA at the AIM, Manila, Philippines in 1983. In 1987 left BBMB to join Shah Alam Properties (SAP). First as its COO and later as MD. The company became SAP Holding Bhd when listed on KLSC's 1st Board in 1993. In 1995 was appointed Deputy President of Kumpulan Darul Ehsan Bhd, the Investment arm Selangor State. In 1996 bought Bridgecon Hldgs Bhd and became its Exec Vice Chairman. Attended the AMP(Oxford) in September 1998. Was Vice President of FIABCI Malaysia, UN body for real estate industry. Was an EXCO member of National Chamber of Commerce and Industry Malaysia (NCCIM). Vice President of Malay Chamber of Commerce, Malaysia and Chairman of Malay Chamber, Selangor State for eight years. Currently Deputy President of USM Alumni Association, Selangor/KL Branch, Member, BOD, Kelab AIM Malaysia and Chairman, Mandailing Insight. |
