What reason do you have to believe the earth is flat?
In day to day life, I don't experience the earth's roundness-my books sit flat on my shelf, my pencils don't roll on my desk, I don't feel like I'm walking up hill or down hill all day. Sometimes it can be difficult to look beyond the day to day experiences to a bigger picture.
