| Introduction | This blog is actually being written by the whole family. We will all be spending the year in Chennai, 6/08-8/09. We're blogging so that anyone that's interested will know what we're up to. Prabhakar is an anesthesiologist and native of Chennai. He's currently working at Rainey Hospital, and enjoying getting reacquainted with lots of old friends. Leann is an Internist who is volunteering here at the Gurunkul clinic, a clinic which provides care primarily to patients with HIV. She is enjoying learing to cook more South Indian food, and singing in the church choir here. Ashwin is in 'Third Standard' at Jesse Moses school. He is playing tennis and soccer, and will be starting in with basketball soon. In his spare time, he enjoys playing with his Wii system. Priya is in 'UKG' or upper kindergarden at Jesse Moses. She is a favorite wherever she goes and has made lots of new friends here. |
